There are some definite perks to my job.  I’m lucky to live in an area where there are other photographers like me that are dedicated to creating a positive community of artists!  One of my goals when I moved to Hillsboro from Sacramento was to grow a network of like-minded photographers–and one of the first people I came across was Halsey!  Halsey is one of those photographers who believes in building community.  She’s a great photographer who specializes in newborns, an amazing mom to her little girl, and my go-to for questions on babywearing, hiking with babies, and cloth diapering!  You might remember her from a session I did a while back with her and her daughter, but last week her husband came to the session too so that they could get some family photos at Jenkins Estate in Aloha!
