If you’re expecting an early spring baby, you might be wondering what your options are for winter maternity photos, when Oregon weather can be a little tougher to get out in. I shared a snowy maternity session at the Gorge a while ago, but if you’re looking to stay closer to home or indoors, consider studio maternity photos. Large windows and an easily accessible building makes studio sessions a great option for my families expecting winter and spring babies.

Studio Options
The studio is located in Northwest Portland, and we have a few different backdrop options with clean, neutral looks to choose from. The building is accessible by elevator and parking is plentiful.

What to Wear for Studio Maternity Photos
We had a lot of fun styling this session. All of the items are from my Client Closet–I brought several options to choose from, and we mixed and matched as we went. I loved the more delicate fabrics in this session, paired with the hand-painted backdrop and soft light. We have a lot of flexibility with wardrobe for studio maternity photos, since we don’t have to worry as much about dressing for the elements.
