Oh, friends. This anniversary photo session that happened in Newberg last week. It has a BEAUTIFUL story behind it. Briana and Nick were DESTINED to be together. They were born one day apart, in the same hospital. Their birth announcements appeared in their local paper right next to each other. So when Briana’s mom clipped her birth announcement and pasted it into her baby book, Nick’s birth announcement went along with it. That’s right: they were together even in her baby book!
I fell in love with these two basically immediately and was so thrilled that I got to photograph these anniversary photos for them. They eloped years ago, and so it was time for some updated photos! Bri got in touch with me to schedule a relaxed, sunny session in a natural location with plenty of GLOW! I just love it when clients come to me specifically because our styles align. Airy, romantic photos that are sunny and outdoorsy are totally my JAM, so when that’s what she said she wanted, I knew we’d be a great fit. We met at Champoeg State Park in Newberg for this anniversary session with field and orchard photos, and these two snuggled, laughed, and were just generally adorable.
These OUTFITS! Bri and Nick totally nailed it. The floral dress, bow tie, the suspenders, and the little BOW ON THE BACK OF THE DRESS!! I’m dying! It’s too adorable! Bri found this incredible dress on Etsy. I’m not going to lie, I have been thinking of buying a similar one ever since this session. I just can’t resist bows–I may in fact be wearing shoes with bows on them as I type this.
