It's October and wedding season is slowing down, which means I have a chance to blog some of the fabulous things I've been up to these last few months! First up is this totally gorgeous engagement session from early August. Hailey and Jeremy planned a small courthouse wedding, and wanted to have some portraits done at Jenkins Estate first!
I love when my families come back to me for their milestone sessions! This family had an adorable fall session last year, and now their little man is getting ready to turn ONE! So I was super excited to make some portraits at Jenkins Estate for them in celebration!
That shirt!! I loved it! We did a mustache theme for my son's first birthday too. Add in a fabulous pun: Mr. ONEderful??? #favoriteshirt
I love, love, LOVE when the family dog gets to come along to a portrait session! I've had dogs my whole life, and since we don't have one right now, it's always a fun day to meet another family's dog and make some portraits! Molly and Pippin brought their A game to their family's session at the Jenkins Estate last weekend--good dogs!
It's been a crazy fall family portrait season over here, especially as our family adjusts to life with a newborn! I've TOTALLY fallen behind on my blogging, but as we wind down into December, I'm hoping to catch back up! I wanted to share this epically Pacific Northwest fall session with you from last month that we did with a Dan and Katherine, whose Union/Pine wedding I shot last year! They brought their kiddo and their dog and we adventured all over the Jenkins Estate for some updated family photos!
Let's talk adorable couples in love. Lacey & Taylor are IT. They are getting married next year, and they are working through all of the wedding planning looking like this: her, snuggled in against his chest, or holding hands and laughing, and completely enjoying each moment with each other. They're a self-proclaimed super lovey-dovey couple and spent the session cuddling and laughing with each other, which, of course, made my job SUPER easy but also made me so happy that there is love like this in the world. I have no doubt their wedding next spring will be just as love-filled and adorable as their engagement session was.
I'm so excited for these two!!! They'll be meeting their new little one soon, and we met up at the Jenkins Estate in Aloha to document these last few months before they become a family of three!
I loved meeting up with this sweet family to update their family photos in time for holiday cards! We had a fabulous fall day at the Jenkins Estate exploring the botanical garden!
Fall is HERE! Which means it's time to think about updating your family photos for holiday cards--and October is the perfect time to book to get fall colors in your photos! I'm back from maternity leave and still have a few weekend dates in October available for family portrait sessions, so contact me today if you'd like to reserve one for your family!
I also wanted to remind everyone about my Anytime Mini sessions that I launched this year--they are PERFECT for when you just need that ONE updated photo for your holiday cards, because the $80 session fee includes one digital file of your favorite image from the session! And if you like more than that one photo, you can add on more digital files or prints a la carte! And my VERY favorite thing about these Anytime Minis--you can schedule them...yep...ANYTIME! I know it's super hard to coordinate a whole family's schedule to make family photos happen, and then trying to hit one specific mini session day that worked for most of my clients was really tough! This way, you can let me know the dates that work for you, like any other session! Hooray!
And, if you're LOVING the location in the photos above, these were taken at the Jenkins Estate in Aloha, and it's one of my favorite spots! Those trees turn into beautiful fall colors this time of year! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area!
True story: I grew up with the momma in this Jenkins Estate family session: sharing lockers at Aloha High School, passing expertly folded notes, and gossiping about all things late 90s (read: Britney Spears). We rocked glitter makeup together at graduation and now, over a decade later, I got to photograph her and her family just as her little ones were turning 3 and 1. It was such a joy to spend the morning with her sweet little family!
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Lisa and Jason and their adorable daughter to photograph their engagement session! We chose the Jenkins Estate in Beaverton for their photo session, so that we could take advantage of their beautiful gardens. Lisa and Jason, congratulations on your engagement and I can't wait for your wedding next month!
